Welcome to the Interdisciplinary Center for Cellular Therapies
TUMCells is a core facility at the university hospital of the TUM School of Medicine and Health in Munich. Our goal is to accompany and support the path from research to clinical application. We not only work with research groups at TUM, but also with all institutions- including those in industry.
Our facility in Munich offers space for the manufacturing of various cell-based therapies in four well equiped cleanrooms.
We also offer consulting, manufacturing capacities, and contract testing services - helping you to make new medical innovations available to patients quickly and safely.
What we offer:
- Advice on the feasibility of your research projects into a clinical application
- Regulatory support for your projects (e.g., PEI Scientific Advice)
- Provision of plant capacity for the manufacture of various novel drugs (including Bio II and S2)
- Quality control of your products using validated methods
- Qualification of external testing laboratories for methods that we currently do not offer in-house
- Support for your project from development to manufacturing authorization and application in patients
- Training and education services
