The Technical University of Munich (TUM) draws its effectiveness from the diversity of talents. This requires respectful treatment of all university members, which is also enshrined in the TUM Mission Statement, the TUM Respect Guide, the TUM Gender & Diversity Equality Plan, the TUM Diversity Code of Conduct and the Fair Play at Work service agreement.
In the spirit of good governance, TUM is particularly committed to protecting its students and employees from discrimination and situations of risk. To this end, the TUM Compliance Office independently examines all reports of incidents of violence of any kind, such as discrimination, insults, physical assaults, harassment and threats, assesses the respective risk situation and takes or coordinates the appropriate follow-up measures on this basis ("one face to the customer").
