Another component of the management tool for the quality of studies and teaching are the surveys of students and graduates on their degree programs. As a rule, these surveys are conducted every two years.
In quality management (QM) circles, measures for further development are then discussed, decided and followed up on the basis of the results of the course and graduate surveys, as well as the results of the course evaluation. Participants in the QM circles are usually deans of studies, course directors, student representatives and the faculty's QM officer. In addition, external experts from academia and professional practice are involved in the strategic development of the degree programs approximately every three years in so-called extended QM circles.
